Design for Travel Audio Visual – London Transport Museum
The Brief
As part of the refresh of the Design for Travel gallery, the London Transport Museum wanted to enhance the projected floor animations to create a more coherent and engaging gallery experience.
The Solution
At the London Transport Depot, there is a wealth of incredible excess museum artifacts that cannot be displayed in the gallery due to display space constraints. We scanned and photographed relevant additional material and designed animated sequences to be projected on the floor, filling the gallery.
The additional digital objects and images appear to spill from the end wall and create trails of supplementary material that lead to the cabinets. Break out animations add to the textural and layered appearance of content , creating a full and dynamic gallery experience.
