World leading engineering firm Arup invited onedotzero to commission an exhibit that showed the range and quantity of bridges they’d designed over the years. They wanted visitors to engage with their archive of imagery and engineering data.
We created an interactive piece of furniture that displayed Arup’s bridges in order of length. Visitors could navigate the content using a simple physical interface.
The topography around each bridge was projection mapped onto two sliding surfaces. The space between the surfaces represents the bridge span and is adjusted by the visitor to select the bridge, which is displayed on a wide format screen beneath.
