The Selfridges Denim Studio is the world’s largest denim retail destination, stocking over 400 different lines. With so many styles to choose from, how can the customer decide and discover the stories around the jeans: the brands, manufacturers, histories, and the range of denim on offer? Selfridges wanted an interactive solution that could facilitate conversations between customers and the Selfridges Denim experts.
We created the Jeanius Bar, a multi-touch interactive table that allows users to play, discover, learn, and browse through the denim collection. It also provides the staff with a powerful digital sales tool to help customers find their perfect jeans.
Fashion photography and videos flow down the centre of the table, and can be dragged, scaled, and pushed to a large vertical display screen. Tabs along the edge of the table allow customers to browse and filter through all the styles and watch animated videos containing helpful denim tips to flatter their shape. They can also create their own wish lists, which they can then email and click to purchase online afterwards, and also print out a mini booklet in store to take away.
